The minor was developed by St.Petersburg School of Economics and Management.

Minor is designed to teach students of non-financial branch the basics of financial sciences. The learning process is organized in the form of a series of lectures and master classes. Minor aims to provide students with basic knowledge and competencies from students in the field of personal finance and investment management, understanding the motives for making certain financial decisions. As a result of acquiring skills, students of this Minor will be able to objectively make independent and rational financial decisions, evaluate their effectiveness and risks.

During the disciplines, students will learn the basics of financial mathematics, risk management, financial planning, and modelling, as well as the basics of entrepreneurship. Our third-year students will gain skills in investing in the financial market and trading in securities. All practical tasks are implemented considering the current macro and micro market conditions, using real data in real time.

The target audience is students of non-economic majors.
