  • 2021/2022 academic year, 1 and 2 modulesIn the process of mastering the discipline, students master the skills of basic financial calculations and the conditions for their application.The course is aimed at developing knowledge about the financial system and the role of the financial market in it, methods of making financial decisions, depending on the task and the person making the decision. As a result of the founding of the discipline, students develop the following competencies:Understanding the modern structure of the financial systemKnowledge of the principles that determine the effectiveness of financial decisions.Ability to assess the effectiveness of financial solutions and their cost.

  • Introduction to Behavioral and Experimental Economics
  • The objectives of the course are to teach students the methods of thinking in the field using the methods and technologies of experimental economics. Rational models of classical finance theory have much more potential in the application of behavioral aspects, the main of which will be presented in this discipline. In the process of studying this discipline, students will get acquainted with the  investors' biases.As a result of studying the discipline, students develop the following competencies:Understanding the main features of human perception of information.Ability to analyze decision-making situations taking into account the influence of behavioral factors,Skills in planning experiments and evaluating their results.Basic software: Excel, Minitab, JMP.
  • Personal Investments Methods
  • Within the framework of this discipline, students will become familiar with the basic skills of investment assessment. Much attention is paid to financial investments and asset allocation rules.
    As a result of the founding of the discipline, students develop the following competencies:  Knowledge of the basic rules of a comfortable theoryChoice of assets depending on the preferences of the investor and the business cycle.Ability to form asset portfolios, assess their risk, structure and stability in relation to systemic risks.Ability to predict market dynamics and the profitability of an investment portfolio.Basic software: Excel, SPSS.
  • Trading Strategies
  • 2022/2023 academic year, 3 and 4 modulesThe course is devoted to the study of the basics of trading strategies, investment behavior in various markets, acquaints students with the concepts of technical and fundamental analysis. The basics of portfolio theory are investigated, various securities are analyzed, special attention is paid to the practical side of stock trading.As a result of the creation of the discipline, students will master the skills of exchange analysis using technical means and programs, bond analysis and basic skills of exchange trading.Base software: Excel, metatrader and quick
