General courses

General courses are aimed at broadening students' outlook, mastering instruments and methods of allied sciences, enhancing critical thinking.
"General courses" section contains compulsory courses in safe living bases, physical training as well as other courses offered by the university. 
This section includes the following courses:

• Law/Legal literacy
• Economics
• Russian History
• Foundations of Russian Statehood
• Philosophy
• Psychology

General courses in law, economics, Russian history and foundations of russian statehood are compulsory for students of all degree programmes (for students enrolling in 23/24 academic year or later) unless similar courses are present in major. In such cases degree programme academic supervisor may introduce other courses (changes will be stated in the curriculum).
